Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. She is most famous for her role as Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio and she continued her passion for performing on theatre. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. She also guest-starred on the show. was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it wasn't until the late 1990s when she landed an acting role on The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last years in the story of Walter White.
